Stationery hits the road
With less than a week to go until the start of National Stationery Week (don’t forget that this year there’s also World Stationery Day next Wednesday), a fleet of ten National Stationery Week/Get Britain Writing branded taxis are out on the road in Central London taking the message that writing matters to an audience of over 10 million people.
The streets of London are well known for stationary traffic, but in April at least it’s stationery with an ‘E’.
None of this would be possible without the great support of sponsors Dodo Pad, Kokuyo, Maped Helix, nu:notebooks, Sheaffer and Zebra Pen, whose logos are all on the taxis too.

In a recent YouGov poll carried out on behalf of National Stationery Week, 92% of adults said that it is important to be able to write by hand, and 97% that it is important for children to be taught handwriting at school.
The message is clear – keep writing!
